Karasek Sound VK Pearl Sitar This sitar was a joint venture between Tony Karasek, and RA Satarmaker in Miraj. Tony overlooked the instrument through every step to make sure it met his very high quality standards. This photo gives really good insight as to what the neck should be like on a VK sitar. The more extreme angle allows for a greater range of meend. This photo gives you a good idea of how well Tony selects as well, as fits the pegs, which is a very important thing when it comes to sitar. The tabli on this sitar is simple yet elegant, which is the trademark of this style of sitar. Although hard to see in the photo the tabli has a higher arch which allows for a dryer sound.
